Gordon Ramsay's York & Albany has given a much needed lift to Camden Town's dining scene. Alongside head chef Colin Buchan, executive chef Angela Hartnett casts a knowledgeable eye over the carefully sourced, mostly British ingredients in the modern European cooking. Roasted leg of Cornish lamb, pomme purée and celery hearts; confit of Suffolk pork belly, and poached Yorkshire rhubarb give a hint at the eclectic menu that ranges across breakfast, supper and Sunday lunch.
